Success Stories . . .

Nicky

My experience with Cynde and her TTouch work has been nothing but wonderful, rewarding, and informative.  Cynde is a most gentle and intuitive animal lover who conducts herself professionally at all times, yet exudes warmth and kindness as well.  I have great respect and admiration for Cynde and the work she does with animals. Her knowledge of TTouch and the world of dogs is impressive, and I have learned a lot from her in our brief history together.  I believe that Nicky and I have greatly benefited from our time with Cynde, and that we will continue to use the methods and information we received.

For any dog owner who may be looking for some assistance, I strongly recommend becoming involved with Cynde and her work.  We are appreciative and grateful for her time and efforts, and our fun times will not be forgotten!

Daisy

I was desperate when I first met Cynde, so I conscientiously followed all her advice.  Consequently, I began to see changes in Daisy within a very short time.   My husband, however, was skeptical about Cynde’s counsel.  He felt that consulting with a TTouch therapist was a complete waste of time.  Today, he is Cynde’s biggest fan.  He has actually seen the difference the implementation of Cynde’s recommendations has made in Daisy’s quality of life, and he is grateful to Cynde for having a more confident, sociable dog living in his house.

Daisy’s progress is a testimony to TTouch Therapy and a testimony to Cynde also.  Cynde not only brought us TTouch, but she also brought us her knowledge, wisdom and intuitive understanding of dog behavior.  Her interaction with us illustrated a deep understanding and ability to work effectively with both people and animal clients.  Her consultation has made Daisy a success story.

Duke

We have a misbehaved dog that was adopted from the animal shelter.  For several years, our dog has charged after other dogs aggressively, sometimes pulling over whoever's walking him.  He has acted aggressively and gone after various types of people.  We tried every device in the pet store to stop these behaviors.  Among the mechanisms we tried were choked chains, collars that have large spikes that dig into the dog's neck, and shock collars.  None of them seem to cure the dog's awful behavior.

Then we were referred to Cynde Van Vleet, a trainer that uses gentle means to train animals through a program called Tellington TTouch.  After just two sessions, we have noticed huge changes.  Our dog responded to Cynde's gentle treatment immediately, obeying her commands and allowing her to give us excellent training techniques.  We have already made advances in the dog's behavior in areas like not pulling on the leash while walking.  In addition, efforts to stop the dog's hostile actions against visitors at the front door are already yielding great results.  We've been shown by this wonderful program that the bad behaviors of our dog can be stopped, and our dog that was once aggressive and misbehaved can be transformed into a well behaved family dog.

A Veterinarian comments:

"This easily learned work has opened whole new vistas of opportunity for veterinarians. With it, we can reassure the stressed dog or cat and help it to become a full participant in its own recovery. Perhaps more important, owners can quickly learn to use touch to form the same close therapeutic connection with their pets."
~Tom Beckett, DVM

A quote from a man with vast experience with animals of all kinds:

"I have seen Linda in action using this method to calm anxious and hostile exotic animals. I have on occasion used her method on my own pet dogs with good results."
~Werner Heuschele, DVM, PhD
Director of Research, San Diego Zoo

A comment from The Volunteer Coordinator at one of the largest shelters in the country:

"Fearful animals can be difficult to handle and stand less chance of attracting a new owner. Finding ways to ease their shyness and depression, to calm and comfort them, can be vital to their future. We saw significant changes in behavior take place, often in minutes, as animals experiencing fear grew calmer, more sociable, easier to handle."

~ Melissa Flower, Volunteer Coordinator, San Francisco Animal Care & Control

And this, from the owner of a large well-respected Dog Day Care and Training facility:

"My first experience with TTouch was with my second rescue Aussie, Savior. I was training for agility and his lack of socialization before I got him left him in a constant state of fear or anxiety around new people or situations. I attended a TTouch seminar and it opened up a whole new world for me and Savior. I was able to regain his attention, calm his nerves, and have better success in agility. Now, we compete in Rally Obedience and we were able to pass the Canine Good Citizen Test. He is also about to receive his Master Agility Championship Title in AKC Agility. Truly Amazing!"
