ABOUT CYNDE!

As a kid, I always had animals around.  Being a military family we traveled a lot.  My one constant and the ones I could always depend on would be the animals.  Some of my fondest memories are helping my dad train our Doberman Pinchers. What I remember most fondly is how relaxed and happy I felt around animals.

I spent the beginning of my adult years raising my family and worked as a Paramedic.  Not feeling fulfilled, I used my  knowledge of medicine to work with animals as a Veterinary Technician.  I knew my life needed to be serving the animals but not in the veterinary field.  If only I could get people to work with their animals by approaching the problem from the animals perspective . . . in other words looking at the world through their eyes.  I knew it would improve the human/animal bond and open up a whole new world to them.

Love what you do . . .

In January of 2002  our wonderful Australian Shepherd, Kobie was diagnosed with Lymphoma.  I had heard of TTouch and not being sure what ALL it entailed I packed Kobie up and away we went on what became the first week of a two year certification training to become a TTouch Practitioner. During our first week of training we met our blue eyed angel dog . . . Gabriel.   It's a wonderful story that I would love to share with you.

In an effort to help people and their animals to have a better understanding of each other's worlds, I have worked hard to achieve certifications as a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) as well as a level 2 (advanced) Certified TTouch Practitioner for companion animals.  I will continued to attend seminars in an effort to learn the most up to date and respectful ways of working with the animals and the people that love them.

I made the commitment to myself to walk a path that allowed me to use my head, hands and heart . . .  that path led me to the animals.

And in my spare time. . .

I enjoy painting portrait quality garden signs of your beloved pet(s).

Your pet's likeness on a garden sign is a unique way to declare the love you share with your animal companion.
